Here in the Waitaki we are spoilt for choice with outstanding local wines and food, we also like to share with you our own farm-grown produce where possible.
At Nest, there are a variety of options when it comes to cuisine. For those wanting to truly relax and escape the daily mealtime routine, you are in luck. With a choice of grazing boards, (lunch/dinner and breakfast hampers are available to purchase). Guests are also welcome to prepare their food in the outdoor kitchen, where you'll find all the cutlery, crockery, pots and pans you need.

For those wanting sample the local offerings, Kurow our closest town less than 10 minutes away has several delicious cafes, two award-winning wineries, two pubs a fish and chip shop, and a supermarket. Te Kohurau, Waitaki Braids and Wild Sage cafés offer delicious brunch and lunch options, the latter two also warmly catering for dinner guests on enquiry. The brightly coloured Kurow and Waitaki Hotels provide hearty pub meals and a great night out. The River T cellar door is also a great place to stop for a lunch time platter.
